UDHAMPUR, Nov 2: District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan organised ten days Capacity Building Programme at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), in which eight Zonal Resource Persons (ZRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) participated.
A total of 110 teachers are attending the programme and after getting training, they will impart the training to all the teachers of their respective zones.
On the occasion, AC Aima, Joint Director Training/ Principal, SIE Jammu, was the chief guest, while, Darshan Lal, Chief Education Officer, was the guest of honour.
AC Aima discussed the components of the SSA and appealed the participants to work with zeal and enthusiasm and bring good results. He also apprised the participants with goals of Learning Enhancement through Active Pedagogy (LEAP).
The ten days long capacity building programme will be held under the supervision of Sudesh Kumar Gupta, HoD, DIET, Kud, Course Coordinator.
Earlier, Paramjeet Singh, Principal, DIET, Kud, Udhampur, presented the welcome address, whereas, Sunil Sharma, HoD, DIET, Kud, presented vote of thanks.
Among others present were JM Tharmatt, Principal, GHSS (Boys), Udhampur, Sunil Sharma, HoD, DIET, Kud, Ved Parkash Sharma, District Education and Planning Officer, members of district resource group and faculty members of DIET.
