JAMMU, May 15: DIG Sector HQ BSF, Jammu, Hardeep Singh, today inaugurated the newly constructed Community Hall at village Badiyal Brahmana near International Border.
Manish Aul, Commandant 122 Bn BSF, Tarsem Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch, Jai Karan, Deputy Commandant, MamleshYadav, Deputy Commandant, B S Negi AC (Engineer) and Inspector Suresh Singh, were also present besides Panchayat members and prominent villagers.
The Community hall had been constructed by 122 Bn BSF , Paloura under BADP Scheme. The hall has been formally handed over to the village Sarpanch by DIG in a function organized by 122 Bn BSF.
The newly constructed building along with washroom is a multi-utility hall for use of villagers for various purposes.
The Sarpanch of the village told that villagers are hugely benefitted and now can easily organize various functions.
122 Bn BSF has been regularly organizing civic action and border area development programs in the villages near to the International Border.
