JAMMU, Dec 23: DIG of Police DKR Range Dr Sunil Gupta visited Samba and conducted formal inspection of District Police Samba.
DIG of Police was received in DPL Samba by SSP Samba, Dr Abhishek Mahajan, and other officers, which was followed by presentation of guard of honour.
The visiting dignitary was briefed about working of different units of District Police Samba by SSP Samba.
DIG of Police inspected different units in DPL including barracks, stores, mess, canteens, Kot, Police Control Room etc.
Dr Gupta also paid tributes to Police Martyrs of District Samba in Martyrs Gallery in District Police Lines Samba.
The officer also inspected MT fleet of District Police Samba at DPL. The officer also inspected equipments of BD Squad and FSL Team. The officer also suggested remedial measures to improve the shortcomings observed during inspection.
Later, DIG DKR visited District Police Office Samba and inspected different branches of DPO Samba and also interacted with officers of District Police Samba and reviewed their workings and ascertained their requirements with respect to manpower, equipment and mobility.
