Jammu, Jan 18: DIG Doda-Ramban Range, Nisar Ahmed today held a security review meeting at DPL Doda. SSP Doda, Zahid Manhas briefed the DIG Range about the police/security arrangements planed/contemplated on the occasion of Republic Day celebrations. The DIG shared some important intelligence inputs related to Republic Day celebrations with the officers present in the meeting and advised them to be alert and take necessary precautionary measures to defeat the ill and evil designs of the anti-national & anti-social elements.
He stressed the need to intensify haka/ random surprise checking and organise short/long range patrolling in the far off and inaccessible areas especially minority pockets.
The participants were stressed upon to take every possible step to ensure the safety/security of the important Government/Private installations including the Central Security Force Camps, Pollice Offices, District Police Lines, Police Stations, Police Posts, Police Pickets etc.
The participants were asked to alert the SPOs & VDCs also to face any eventuality. SSP Doda, Addl.SP Bhaderwah and SDPO Gandoh were directed to issue elaborate Deployment Orders for Doda, Bhaderwah and Gandoh respectively.
