RAJOURI, Sept 17: With an aim to boost the confidence of students and to provide them an enriching experience on educational and motivational grounds, Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district flagged off a Bharat Darshan tour on Saturday.
The tour was flagged off from Police Lines Rajouri by DIG Rajouri Poonch Range, Dr Haseeb Mughal, in presence of SSP Rajouri, Mohammad Aslam and other senior officers.
Bharat Dharshan tour comprises of 51 youth from different parts of Rajouri district and supporting police staff with three inmates of Nari Niketan are also a part of this tour.
The tour has been organised under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police.
Travel throughout the tour shall be by air which is maiden experience for most of the participating youth who shall visit Hyderabad.
Police said that the purpose of the tour is to showcase the rich socio-cultural diversity of our country and to give the youth an opportunity to see the development in various parts of the country.
