DIG Home Guards, Civil Defence visits Samba

JAMMU, Dec 16: DIG Home Guards/ Civil Defence &SDRF A K Attri today visited Civil Defence town Samba and held a meeting with Deputy Controller Civil Defence Samba along with Civil Defence Wardens of the town.
During the meeting DIG reviewed the progress and working of Civil Defence in the district. The Deputy Controller informed about the awareness camps and Civil Defence training camps in the district.
The DIG, while appreciating the progress and working of Civil Defence to give pace to the awareness programmes and other disaster related activities urged them to promote disaster related activities in remote, rural, urban areas, educational institutions and create awareness about the first aid and other activities related to disaster in coming days.
He urged them to involve the maximum public in the programme and also fulfill all the other requirements of Civil Defence in Samba in future.
The Controller Civil Defence Samba also highlighted the role of Civil Defence and Civil Defence Wardens of the town also expressed their views.
