DIG JSK Range directs staff to install anti-drugs hoardings in Domana

JAMMU, Feb 14: Dr Sunil Gupta, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range today directed his subordinates at Police Station Domana to install anti-drugs hoardings in their jurisdiction.
The DIG passed these directions during a surprise visit paid to the Police Station where he inspected the MHC Room, Cyber Cell, Malkhana, Havalat, complaint register, and Mahila Desk Register.
While carrying out the inspection, the DIG directed SDPO Domana and SHO Domana for maintaining extra vigil in their area in view of the VVIP visit. He also directed the SDPO/SHO for redressal of the public grievances in a time bound manner.
Sunil Gupta further stressed upon the police officers to give proper attention to the women complainants and addressing their complaints in a time-bound manner.
Further, Dr Sunil Gupta directed the SDPO Domana and SHO Domana to install anti-drugs hoardings across Domana in order to create awareness amongst the youngsters about the ill-effects of the drugs.
He also directed that the women complainants are attended by women staff only.
The DIG also laid emphasis on disposing NDPS/road accidents and land dispute cases in a professional manner.
