JAMMU, Aug 25: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, today reviewed the security arrangements in Jammu City.
A statement said that he was accompanied by SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, along with other senior police officers during the review meeting.
The police officer also inspected the Outer Ring Road and issued on-the-spot instructions for increasing surveillance and patrolling in the Miran Sahib, Bishnah, Palli, Nakki, and Nadoli areas.
During the inspection at the Outer Ring Road, the DIG was accompanied by SP Headquarters Jammu and SHO Miran Sahib.
Later, the DIG Jammu inspected the Ring Road up to Domana, Gharota, Bantalab, and Janipur areas.
During his interaction with the public en route, the DIG sought cooperation in timely identifying anti-national and anti-social elements and sharing their information with the police accordingly.
