JAMMU, Dec 12: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma today conducted security review of Jammu City areas.
Flanked by SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, SP North Vivek Shekhar, SP Operations Kameshwar Puri, SDPO City Devinder Singh, DySPs Sunil Jasrotia, Sunil Mahajan, SHOs, Incharge Police Posts of Old City, the police officer visited different areas, including Link Road, Parade, Raghunath Bazar, Gummat Market, Hari Market, Jewel Chowk and Nowabad.
During his visit, the DIG JSK Range was briefed about the security arrangements put in place in Old City areas by SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, SP North Vivek Shekhar and SP Operations Kameshwar Puri.
The DIG also checked all the bustling streets, hotels, busy markets, and interacted with local market association members while requesting them to share information about any suspicious activity to their nearest police stations or police posts.
