RAMBAN, Feb 9: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range, Shridhar Patil along with DIG RPF, K.K Ashraf; DIG Railways, Haseeb-Ur-Rehman; SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar; SSP Railways, Dr Harmeet Singh; Binod Kumar, SSP RPF and officers of Railway IRCON, SDPOs Gool/Banihal and Dy.SP Hqrs Ramban today visited Banihal, Khari, Sumber, Dharam and Sangaldan areas in District Ramban to take stock of the comprehensive security plan for upcoming Railway Project from Banihal to Sangaldan.
DIG Patil also interacted with Railway Police officers, Railway Protection Force officers, Railway Department offices and enquired about the logistics and other security related issues en-route Railway Track.
He stressed on deploying sufficient security personnel at vantage positions to provide foolproof security.
DIG Patil further asked the officers to ensure that their coordinated efforts are effectively put in place to make upcoming Railway Project smooth and secure.
