UDHAMPUR, Sept 27: DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Sujit Kumar today visited District Police Headquarters Reasi and reviewed law and order situation.
The DIG, who was given ceremonial guard of honour at the lawns of DPO Reasi, held a detailed crime meeting and gave necessary directions and guidelines to the officers present for the speedy and effective disposal of the crime work.
The DIG directed the officials to work keenly on NDPS cases, theft, inquest proceedings etc for better results. The DIG also took stock of security and law and order situations and gave directions on the spot.
Earlier, SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir gave detailed account of crime, law and order scenario of the District Reasi.
The meeting was attended by Shiv Kumar Chouhan, Addl SP Reasi; Vivek Shekar, SDPO Katra; Kameshwar Puri, SO to DIG U-R Range; Mumtaz Ali Bhatti, Dy SP DAR Reasi; Waseem Mehmood, Dy SP Hqrs Reasi; Satish Bhardwaj, SDPO Arnas; Zakir Shaheen Mirza, SDPO Mahore besides SHOs of all the Police Stations of District Reasi.
