JAMMU, Aug 10: Under the auspicious campaign for paying tribute to the brave hearts and luminaries who gave up their today for our tomorrow and made supreme sacrifices for the nation, Shridhar Patil, DIG Traffic Range Jammu accompanied by Vinay Kumar SSP Traffic Rural Jammu administered the pledge of ‘Panch Pran’ to the staff of Traffic Range Headquarter Jammu and Traffic Rural Headquarter Jammu reaffirming their commitment to the service of country.
The DIG Traffic while speaking on the occasion said that various programs are being held by traffic police in connection with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the programs are being dedicated to the service of motherland. He said the pledge ceremony here symbolises great saga of sacrifice by Jammu and Kashmir Police in the service of nation. This is also epitomised by the dedication of traffic police towards their duties to ensure hassle free travel of the citizens, he added.
Patil reminded all the traffic personnel that as a citizen and also as a police officer, “we have double responsibility for contributing to the peace and progress of nation.” He emphasised that let’s perform our duties sincerely and remain dedicated to serve the public.
Meanwhile, a similar pledge was also taken by the officers and officials of SSP Traffic Jammu City office. SSP Traffic City Fiesel Qureshi administered the pledge.
