DIG Udhampur holds stress management session

JAMMU, Dec 6: Sujit Kumar Singh, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range paid a visit to DPL Reasi today where he held darbar of the officers and jawans and also held a stress management session with the gathering.
Rashmi Wazir, SSP Reasi welcomed the DIG and briefed him about various welfare and other measures undertaken in the district for the jawans. She also gave a brief of law & order and other initiatives undertaken in the district.
The DIG was given ceremonial guard of honour at District Police Line Reasi. He listened patiently to the demands putforth by various officers and jawans and assured to resolve all of their issues on priority.
Speaking on the occasion, Kumar suggested the gathering about the means and ways to handle the stress. He said that as the jawans and officials of J&K Police are burdened with large number of duties and advised them to remain in touch with their parents, and other family members. He directed them to inculcate the habit of games/sports and other physical exercise to keep themselves mentally and physically fit.
The DIG also shared with the officials his personal experience of stress management and his fight against illness which was appreciated by all the officers and officials present on the occasion and all the officers and officials took inspiration from him.
Those present in the darbar included Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan, Additional SP Reasi, Mumtaz Ali Bhatti Dy.SP DAR Reasi, Vaseem Mehmood, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi, Insp Ashwani Sharma SHO Reasi and other officers and officials of District Police Reasi.
