UDHAMPUR, Sept 19: Deputy Inspector General of Police Mohammad Suleman Choudhary reviewed the present security scenario and counter measures in District Police Lines Udhampur.
In view of the recent security scenario,a threadbare discussion was held and feedback/inputs from all the field formations involved in security grid,including DSB were taken and the steps taken by them were reviewed.
SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar apprised in the meeting about security measures being taken in the district.
During the concluding remarks, DIG Udhampur Reasi Range stressed upon all the participating officers to ensure that a foolproof security mechanism is put in place to face any challenge.
Keeping in view of present security scenario the chairing officer reiterated the need of strong security grid for the length and breadth of District.
The stakeholders present in the meeting were instructed for beefing up of security apparatus in their respective areas of responsibility.
During the meeting, crime disposal of all the police stations was discussed and all SHOs were impressed upon to investigate the cases especially heinous offences by using scientific tools to acheive convictions.
The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Udhampur Anwaar Ul Haq, SDPO Chenani Sheikh Tahir Amin, SDPO Ramnagar Vishal Manhas, DySP Hqrs. S. Gurmeet Singh, DySP DAR DPL Shahid Nahiem, Sr.PO DPO Udhampur Darshan Singh and all SHOs of District Udhampur.
