Her desire got translated into reality with the motivation of her parents who guided her from the day she passed the B Tech in Electronic Communication (EC) from NIT Srinagar that she should pursue Civil Services in case she wanted to serve the society.
“This worked as an inspiration and motivational factor for me to join the Civil Services and from the very day I decided to pursue the same field as my career option’’, said Diksha while talking to Excelsior.
“Though I joined for one year a multinational company at Hyderabad in Telangana but the job seemed monotonous to me as there was a same type of work daily and this way I thought I can’t be helpful to the society’’ , she said. “I could not adjust myself with the nature of the job there and decided to prepare for the Civil Service Examination which I qualified with the grace of God and blessings of my parents as well my grand mother’’, she added.
When asked will she try her luck in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) also Diksha said it is a bigger platform and there is no harm in competing in IAS also. However at present I am satisfied with my achievement, she added.
