POONCH, May 16: Woman social activist of Gujjar community of Poonch, Dil Khursheed Hakla, sister of Shamsher Hakla Poonchi, a prominent Gujjar leader of the UT died due to cardiac arrest. She was 74. Her burial has taken place at village Kalai, Poonch district.
Dil Khursheed Hakla has played an important role in creating educational, social and political awareness among women of Gujjar and Bakarwal community and worked for their upliftment throughout her life.
She had left great impact on Gujjar -Bakarwal community and was highly respected among the people for her social services. The Gujjar and Bakarwal community has expressed grief and sorrow over her demise.
