Dilbagh gang’s kingpin, associate arrested with sharp edged weapons

JAMMU, Apr 27: Police foiled a murder plot by arresting the kingpin of Dilbagh gang and his associate along with sharp edged weapons from Simbal Camp area.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of April 26 and 27, on specific input that some goons are going for a gang rivalry at Simbal Camp, a police team along with the sleuths of Special Operation Group (SOG) conducted raid in Simbal Camp area and intercepted a Swift car bearing registration number JK02AS-0863.
During checking, police arrested two hardcore criminals from the vehicle along with two sharp edged weapons.
The accused have been identified as Dilbagh Singh, son of Janak Singh of Ward Number 4, Simbal Camp and Tejinder Singh alias Jinda, son of Darshan Singh, a resident of Ward Number 2, Simbal Camp.
Dilbagh Singh (kingpin of Dilbagh Gang) and Tejinder Singh were on their way to eliminate their rivals, but police thwarted their attempt by arresting them.
Both the accused are involved in number of criminal cases registered against them with different police station.
Tejinder Singh alias Jinda was evading his arrest since long and was wanted in number of cases. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Court.
A fresh case under FIR Number 62/17 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered against them at police station Miran Sahib and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and sleuths of SOG led by DySP Operations Munish Anand foiled the murder plot and arrested the accused under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
