Dilbagh group’s kingpin among three injured in gang war

JAMMU, Nov 7: Three members including kingpin of Dilbagh group were injured in gang war in Simbal Morh area, falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib police station.
As per police sources, the kingpin of Dilbagh group–a gang active in the State since 2009 and involved in various criminal offences in J&K and Guwahati namely Dilbagh Singh, son of Janak Singh and his relative Atinder Pal Singh, son of Manjeet Singh, both residents of Simbal Camp were attacked by the rival gang members namely Tajinder Singh alias Happy, son of Mohinder Singh of Simbal Camp, Gurpreet Singh alias Rocky and Harbans Singh, trio residents of Simbal Camp with sharp edged weapons.
Three fingers of Dilbagh hSingh were chopped off by the rival gang members. Singh along with his relative Atinder Pal Singh were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), from where Dilbagh was later shifted to a hospital in Amritsar for advanced treatment and Atinder Pal Singh was discharged as he received minor injuries in the clash.
In the gang war, Tajinder Singh also received injuries and got himself admitted in District Hospital Kathua, from where he was later referred to GMCH, but he escaped fearing elimination at the hands of Dilbagh group members.
Tajinder Singh is the associate of criminal group, which is being headed by Paramjeet Singh alias Sunny of Simbal Camp. Sunny is presently lodged in jail under Public Safety Act (PSA). Gurpreet Singh alias Rocky is brother of Paramjeet Singh.
A case under FIR Number 171/15 under Section 307 and 341 RPC and 4/25 Indian Arms Act has been registered against Tajinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Harbans Singh at Miran Sahib police station and manhunt has been launched to nab them.
However, no arrest was made till late night.
