Dillawar, Qazi ask Govt to settle migrants problems

JAMMU, Feb 27: PDP senior leaders and former Ministers Dillawar Mir and Qazi Mohammed Afzal have urged the Government to take immediate steps in allotment of quarters to the displaced Pandits putting up in rented accommodations.
Addressing separate gathering of displaced Pandits here today, the PDP leaders expressed concern over ignoring these people while making allotments of quarters and termed it a deliberate attempt of Coalition Government.
Mohammed Dillawar Mir also appealed the Government to release payment of enhanced cash relief along with the cash relief of February before the Maha Shivratri festival.
He also demanded enhanced quota of sugar besides all other arrangements be made for the festival.
Qazi Mohammed Afzal expressed concern over delay in implementation of PM’s employment package for migrants which is hanging in balance for over last five years.
He also demanded one kg of extra sugar besides making available all the essential commodities during the Shivratri festival along with payment of arrears of relief and relief of February be paid before March Ist.
PDP Migrant leaders Ashok Sidha, Nana Ji Wattal and Pinto Ji were also present in the meetings.
