Dimple concerned over rising death cases due to pandemic

JAMMU, May 18: Mission Statehood and Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held protest against surge in deaths due to COVID pandemic in Jammu.
The activists of Mission Statehood and JWAM led by president Sunil Dimple held protest and raised slogans against the LG administration.
While talking to media persons, Dimple expressed concern over rising death cases due to pandemic in Jammu.
“Poor people are at the verge of starvation due to the pandemic and the Government should distribute free ration among them also”, he added.
“Imposing lockdown is need of the hour, but Government should also arrange food for the poor people”, he said and demanded distribution of cash and free ration to all ration card holder families of Jammu and Kashmir on ration depots.
Among others present were Harbans Tandon, Sanjay Nagraj, Mohan Lal Dogra, etc.
