Dimple criticises Govt for opening more wine shops

JAMMU, May 31: Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement today criticised Government for opening more wine shops instead of vaccination centres in Jammu.
Addressing a press conference here, Sunil Dimple alleged that in spite of repeated requests to LG, Manoj Sinha and administration there is acute shortage of vaccination centres for 18-45 age group.
He said in most of the centres for 18 to 45 age -group there were no vaccinations and the youth are returning without getting the vaccinations.
He said the video recorded memorandum, was sent to the higher ups including Divisional Commissioner, DCs, and CMOs.
Dimple alleged there are no vaccinations for the second dose for above 45 ages.
He alleged the Government is opening more wine shops in the City of Temples than the required number of vaccination centres for the 18 to 45 age youths, in Jammu region.
He said people are protesting against the opening of the wine shops, but the administration has turned a deaf ear.
He alleged the liquor mafia is very active in this pandemic and people are in their houses due to lockdown. But liquor mafia is active in opening the wine shops in the Jammu city.
He demanded deferment of 12 class CBSE exams and vaccination of all students up to university level.
