Dimple demands CBI probe into funds allotted to PWD, JMC

JAMMU, Sept 22: Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement led a protest demonstrations against the poor performance of PWD R&B, ERA, and JMC for their failure and alleged that for lack of development, the condition of the Jammu city was worst.
The  protestors raised slogans against the PWD R&B, ERA, and JMC for the swindling Rs 132 crore funds which have been wasted and the construction of flyovers, widening of the BC Road Rehari Chungi, kept in cold storage by the Government.
Dimple alleged that the condition of deplorable roads of the West Assembly constituency was taken up with Chief Engineer, SE, XEns PWD R&B but every time made excuse of no money was provided for black topping the same. If this is the condition of the roads in the winter capital then what will be the performance of PWD in the rural areas, he asked.
Dimple gave one week ultimatum to the PWD R&B and Government for immediate black topping, repairing of the roads of the Jammu city and the West constituency other wise JWAM will intensify its agitation.
Dimple said ERA has defaced the whole West Assembly constituency and Jammu city, causing hardships to the people.
