JAMMU, Apr 2: Mission Statehood President Sunil Dimple demanded restoration of statehood and Article 370 before the Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference, Dimple said that Mission Statehood can go for alliance with any party including Aam Aadmi Party (APP) if they clear their stand for the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
“We are ready to join any party if it clears its stand on restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, special status, Article 370 and unification of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan”, Dimple said, adding that Jammu and Kashmir is a very sensitive state and has different problems and demands.
“AAP’s road map is not clear whether it supports the restoration of statehood, special status, Article 370 and unification of Jammu, Ladakh, Kashmir, PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan. If it clears its stand, we are ready for alliance”, Dimple asserted.
Dimple appealed to all political parties including AAP to clear their stand on the road map of Mission Statehood.
He also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to restore statehood and Article 370 before the Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.
Among others present were Ram Kapoor, Sita Ram Rakwal and Dev Raj.
