Dimple for bifurcation of Jammu West constituency

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, May 7: President of Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple, has demanded bifurcation of the Jammu West Assembly constituency in to two Assembly segments for proper development of the area.
Talking to media persons, he said this constituency has more than two lakh fifty thousand voters with more than 12 lakh population but no development was taking place in the constituency.
He challenged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to give details of the funds spent in Jammu West constituency and then compare the amount with his own constituency  and the constituencies of his other Ministers, which have far less population.
Sunil Dimple alleged that not even a single announcement by the Government has been fulfilled on the development front. Construction of fly overs at Rehari Chungi, Jewal Chowk, multi storey parking,  improvement in the traffic system, making Jammu as Mega city, improvement in the power supply system, construction of the Rope way to Bag-e- Bahu etc were this Government’s commitments which are still on papers only, he alleged.
