Dimple protests against installation of smart meters in Jammu

JAMMU, June 6: President Mission Statehood Jammu & Kashmir, Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple registered strong protest against installation of seven lakhs ‘Smart Meters’ and opening of ‘New Wine Shops’ in Jammu city.
It was stated by him during the press briefing which was held, here today.
Dimple asks BJP to clear its stand on restoration of statehood, smart meters and opening of new wine shops in the city of temples.
He alleged that for the installation of smart meters in Jammu, some higher-ups officials of Jammu and Kashmir have charged huge money from the private companies and also demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to return big power projects especially the Salal and Uri Hydro Project back to Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dimple appealed all the political parties and religious organizations to come on one platform for the restoration of the Dogra state.
He urged upon the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to stop the installation of the smart meters in Jammu and stop privatisation of electricity which will make our PDD daily wagers unemployed.
