JAMMU, Apr 25: Sunil Dimple, president of Mission Statehood, today led a protest rally against the frequent and unscheduled power cuts in Jammu city.
During the protest, which was held on New Plot- Janipur High Court road, the agitating people raised slogans against the PDD and said that there was no water supply also because of power cuts.
Addressing the protest demonstration, Sunil Dimple alleged that the PDD has completely failed to supply smooth power in Jammu with the result people are suffering while business was also hit. He alleged that after installation of smart meters, the curtailment and power cuts have increased in Jammu city.
The protest was joined by Ashok Khana, Raju Kumar, Ram Kumar Das, Dev Kumar, Vipan Gupta, Mukesh Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Jetinder Gupta and others.
