JAMMU, Sept 23: Alleging that no drinking water was supplied in the West Assembly constituency for the last 72 hours, Sunil Dimple-president of Jammu West Assembly Movement, today warned gherao of the PHE authorities.
Leading a protest demonstration of locals, Mr Dimple alleged that people of Jammu West Assembly were without water supply of the last three days while the officers were making hollow announcements and claims. If the supply is not restored immediately, the people would have no option other than to gherao PHE authorities, he warned and added that the PDP-BJP coalition Government has failed to provide even basic facilities to people of the State.
Those who took part in the protest, included Dr Sham Saroop, Harbans Todon, Madan Lal Dogra, Bishan Das Sharma, Bhagat Ram Sharma, Raman Gupta, Vijay Khjuria, Kulwant Sharma, Dev Raj, Babu Gupta, Vicky, Rakesh Sharma, Ashok Khanna, and others.
