JAMMU, Apr 24: The Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered inquiry against Deputy Director Prosecution, Inderjeet Lal, presently attached to the Home Department for the charges framed against him.
Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, J&K, Mohd Shahid Saleem has been appointed as Inquiry officer to probe the allegations against the Dy Director Prosecution. Prashant Mahajan, CPO in the office of DG Prosecution, J&K has been appointed as Presenting Officer in the case, an official said.
The Inquiry officer has been directed to complete the probe in all respects and submit report to the Government within 30 days. Inderjeet Lal shall continue to remain attached with the Home Department till further orders, the official said.
