RAJOURI, Sept 13: Director Colleges Higher Education Department J&K Prof Yaseen Ahmed Shah today inaugurated MA Urdu program in Government Post Graduate College here.
Principal of the College Prof Shakeel Ahmed Raina, members of teaching and non teaching faculty and students of the college were present on the occasion.
While speaking, Principal of the college apprised the Director of various achievements of the students and staff of the college. He also apprised Prof. Shah of various difficulties being faced by the college in its smooth functioning especially pertaining to the non availability of adequate number of clerical staff. He also appraised Director Colleges that the college is also submitting the proposal for starting two more PG Programs in Physics and Geography.
On the occasion, students of the college presented a cultural program.
Director Colleges wished the institute to progress in leap and bounds in future also.
Proceedings of the program were conducted by the Prof Jahangir Asgher while Head, Department of Urdu Dr Abdul Haq Naimi presented formal vote of thanks.
Former principal of the college Dr Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Former Head of Department of Urdu Dr MK Waqar, Former Head PG Department of Chemistry Prof HS Ishar, Dr Mohammad Saleem Wani and many others were present on the occasion.
