JAMMU, July 8: Director Industries and Commerce Jammu, Anoo Malhotra today reviewed the performance of Industries Centre Samba during her visit to the border district.
Chairing a meeting of the officers/ officials of the DIC, she issued string of directions including clearance of pendency, survey and activation of non functional industrial units in the district. She asked for issuing notices to non functional/ closed units holders for reviving the units or retrieving the land. She further directed for submission of pending subsidy cases viz interest subsidy, DG set subsidy, Lab subsidy, pollution control equipment subsidy cases to Directorate on priority and holding awareness camps to create awareness about Atmanirbhar Bharat, registration Udyam Udyam, TREds etc and establishing helpdesk for the same at the DIC.
Later, the Director I&C visited IGC Phase I, II and III and inspected various units especially under construction and newly established units in IGC Phase III Samba. She also visited the newly acquired 460 kanal land at Karandi near IGC phase III.
The Director also inspected the ongoing construction work of 4 CETPs for pollution control in IGC Phase I Samba and issued directions for their timely completion. She further issued directions for completion of pending road macdamization and drainage construction in IGC to the concerned officers.
The Director I&C was accompanied by General Manager, DIC Samba, Sansar Chand, Functional Manager, Pawan Goswami, Sandeep Kumar, Varun Bhasin and IPO Pankaj Sharma.
