JAMMU, Mar 20: N K Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC, India’s premier hydropower utility has been conferred ‘Award of Excellence’ by University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur.
The award has been given to NK Jain in due recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of Human Resource Management.
NHPC has witnessed several key HR initiatives and achievements under the leadership of NK Jain as Revision of pay of executive, supervisors and workmen, ‘Contract Labour Payment Management System web portal’ ensuring transparency, NHPC Sabbatical Scheme, Lien Scheme for NHPC Executives for Below Board Level Posts, Implementation of Online Human Resource Management System (HRMS) in Integration with Finance Division, consisting of online employee data administration, employee self-service, exit procedure for terminal benefits, talent management, etc.
NK Jain is also looking after execution of NHPC’s CSR-SD scheme, wherein NHPC has organized skill development training for 3000 youth in association with NSDC across 17 locations in the country besides other CSR activities in the areas of healthcare, education, rural development, skill development, environment sustainability, women empowerment, promotion of sports, arts and culture etc.
