JAMMU, Mar 28: BJP Candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma  accompanied by Leader of Legislative Party & Jammu East MLA Ashok Khajuria, State vice-president Ramesh Arora , senior leader Chander Mohan Sharma, Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi and district president Rajesh Gupta, BJYM State president Ravinder Raina and hundreds of supporters participated in a road show which began from Billu Mandir, Panjtirthi.
Passing through various bazaars, major lanes of old city including Jain Bazar, Parade, Purani Mandi, Peer Mithi, Nehru Market it culminated at Kanak Mandi to garner support from the people. Jugal was given rousing receptions at a number of places by party activists, bazaar associations, social organizations and common people. He also held series of corner meetings in the Jammu East Constituency where he listened to the people and apprised them with the policies of BJP.
During the road show and the corner meetings in the Jammu East Constituency, Sharma lambasted on the misconceived impressions about development being given by the UPA constituent and NC-Congress coalition partners just to befool the public. Exposing NC-Congress leaders, he said that divisive policies are infact the Central agenda of the ruling coalition in the State which is reflective in discriminatory employment policy, distribution of Central and State funds and various other schemes which never reach Jammu region. Contrary to the reported hollow claims of developments, Jammu needs more development and employment for the youth. Referring to the functioning of Custodian Department, Sharma said it has become irrelevant and be disbanded now with tenants given ownership rights.
