NEW DELHI: Blossomed under the vibrant, dynamic and bold look, actress Disha Patani walked down the ramp for Love Generation, which made a sparkling debut on the first day of Amazon India Fashion Week.
The couturiers behind Love Gen include Nandita Mahtani, Bhavana Pandey and Dolly Sidhwani, the three Mumbai girls, who are all stalwarts of the Indian fashion world. The show was in collaboration with British Airways.
The show, which had guests like Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Ritesh Sidhwani, Riddhima Kapoor and Nitya Mehra seated in the first row, began with Disha taking over the ramp with her Bollywood moves in denims.
The 21-year-old actress rocked the runway with her smile and confidence and was no less than a sight for sore eyes.
“I loved walking for Love Generation because it is a collection I would love to wear personally. I can dress it up or dress it down with the right make-up and shoes!” Disha said.
Meanwhile, the models donned perfect everyday summer wardrobe with full of ruby reds, boisterous blues, youthful yellows, pinks and peaches.
From crepes and denims to georgettes and cotton, the collection was an assortment of the fabrics that are completely breathable.
While, shedding more light on their chic collection one of the co-founders of Love Gen, Nandita said, “It is a collection for the modern-day women, who don’t have time to dress up. So, they wear something light and go to work and then play it up and go for a party.
“We have worked with denim from skirts to dresses. We have tried to keep it cool and trendy.”
The people got to witness Disha on the runway once again, when she turned showstopper for the newly launched clothing line. This time she opted for a black tube top with a long transparent skirt.
The actress could not resist her urges to groove when she saw her celebrity friends cheering from the crowd and at last ended up ruling the entire show. (AGENCIES)
