JAMMU, Nov 1: A meeting of Displaced Medical Pensioners Welfare Forum was held under the chairmanship of P K Koul here, today in which the problems of the pensioners were highlighted.
Addressing the meeting, P K Peshin, senior leader of the Forum demanded release of four percent DA installment in favour of pensioners and UT Government employees which has since been released by Central Government in favour of its employees and pensioners.
He demanded immediate release of DA installment due to the employees and pensioners of UT besides increase of Medical Allowance to Rs 1000 per month.
