Displaced Pandit Youth Forum holds protest

JAMMU, Nov 6: Displaced Pandit Youth Forum held protest demanding immediate release of selection lists of employees, who had qualified written test and given interviews under PM package.
Large number of Kashmiri Pandit youth assembled infront of Press Club and held protest. They raised slogans in favour of their demands.
The protesters said that more than 3000 candidates have qualified the written tests and have given interviews and also followed all the rules and procedures of JKSSB, but selection lists are pending for the past four years.
They said that most of the candidates have become over-aged and JKSSB has adopted delay tactics in implementation of PM’s Employment Package.
Among others, who spoke during the protest were Deepak Jad, Chairman of the Forum, Ashwani Mantoo, Deepak Pandita, GP Singh, etc.
