JAMMU, Sept 18: A protest demonstration was held under the banner of Displaced Pandit Youth Forum demanding immediate release of selection lists of advertisement notification of 2012 under PM’s employment package for Kashmiri migrants.
The demonstrators made an appeal to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and chairperson Service Selection Board in this regard.
The protesters demanded that the selection list of teachers, social workers, lab assistants, lab technicians, junior librarians, date entry operators, EDP supervisors and receptionists be released immediately.
The protesters said that over 3000 candidates have qualified the written tests and later appeared in interviews after completing all formalities of SSRB but their selection lists are pending for last four years which is totally injustice with these hapless youth among whom many are at the verge of over age.
They said the delay in package implementation has already spoiled the career of many youth. The youth are in a State of frustration and can take any extreme step if the justice is not given to them.
They said the PM’s employment package has been sanctioned under SRO 412 of December 30, 2009 and as per the SRO the appointee will serve in the Valley against the post on which he or she is appointed and at the place where posted. They said that they are willing to serve in Valley as per the same SRO.
