JAMMU, Oct 30: Kashmiri Displaced People Wing of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), has categorically rejected the proposal of Government to provide land to PM package employees on subsidised rates for their rehabilitation in Valley.
President displaced Wing DPAP, Sanjay Dhar, its chairman, Piaray Lal Pandita and general secretary Raj Kumar Ticku while commenting on the recent statement of Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha in this regard said that Government should take concrete steps for one time rehabilitation of entire displaced community in the Valley.
The KDP Wing DPAP J&K leaders have demanded that due to failure of the Government to prepare a concrete permanent rehabilitation policy of resettlement of Kashmiri Hindus in their birth Places in Kashmir, each moment the self generated proposals are thrown out on the platforms in connivance of some self styled leaders.
They appealed the Government of India to make a concrete rehabilitation policy for return of Kashmiri displaced people to their birth places, as now this has been too much to lead a displaced life of more than 35 years.
They appealed the Human Rights Commission of India (HRCI) and the President of India to save the basic inhabitants of Kashmir from further political torture, borne by the Displaced Kashmiri Hindus in exilement. The leaders have appealed the Civil Society of Kashmir to make a pressure on the Government for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri displaced people to restore the old cultured ethos of Kashmir.
