JAMMU, Oct 9: Displaced Pandit Youth Forum (DPYF) held a demonstration here today demanding immediate release of selection lists of candidates who have appeared in the interview in 2012 vide Government notification number 01 of 2012.
The protesters reiterating their appeal to Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Chief Secretary urged them to issue instructions to Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) to publish the selection list of these candidates at an earliest.
They said the present coalition Government had removed all the legal obstacles in the way of recruitment process so there should be no hindrance in publishing the selection list.
The protesters further said that by delaying the list the career of hundreds youth is at stake who are anxiously waiting for the same for last four years and some of them are at the verge of over age also.
The youth said they are willing to serve in Valley against odd circumstances.
Those who addressed protestors included Deepak Jad, chairman of the Forum, Ashwani Mantoo, Deepak Pandita and G P Singh.
