JAMMU, Apr 27: Distribution of ration and essential items among needy persons continued in different parts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Veenu Khanna BJP Secretary handed over 500 face cover masks to Sat Pal Sharma former President and Ex-MLA for distribution among the needy people in Jammu West area. District President Munish Khajuria and Mandal President Ravish Mengi were also present on the occasion.
Veena Gupta, former District President BJP Mahila Morcha Jammu West handed over 25 PPE kits to the J&K BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul, at party headquarter Trikuta Nagar. J&K BJP General Secretary Dr DK Manyal, Additional Publicity Secretary Ayodhya Gupta and Yogesh Mahajan were also present on the occasion.
J&K UT BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi handed over bags of four and daily household items in large number to the Jammu East Mandel to Parveen Kerni, President BJP Jammu East unit for distribution of the same among the poor and needy people of Jammu East Constituency. Sethi was accompanied by Mandal Jammu East General Secretary Vipin Sharma and Mandal Jammu East VP Vinod Gupta.
Ajab Singh Executive Member of “We The Human” distributed free ration among 15 labourers from Bihar putting up at Valmiki Colony Jammu. Reusable Clothes Facemasks and toilet soaps were also distributed among themRation was also distributed among a couple at Belicharana. Earlier, Sukhdev Singh Executive Member of the trust handed over dry ration items to social worker of Kathua Daman Jeet Singh for further distributing the same among families in distress at Tara Nagar Kathua. Kuldeep Singh Sarpanch Kishanpur Kandi was also present on the occasion.
M/s Lupin Limited, Bari Brahmana represented by Atul V Patil, Site Head, Dheeraj Dhawan HR Head and Satish Saraf Admin Head have distributed food items to needy and poor families residing in nearby areas of Samba District in the presence of SSP Samba Shakti Pathak, SDPO Luv Karan and SHO Arjun Singh Chib.
Vikas Jandyal Member of BJP and Member of All Jandyal Biradhri handed over 200 bags of rice to Kavinder Gupta Former CM J&K for distribution among needy persons.
RSS Swayamsevaks distributed dry ration to four hundred families at Marble Market, Trikuta Nagar, Industrial Estate, Nanak Nagar, Greater Kailash, Ekta Vihar, Channi Himmat, Nai Basti, Bantalab and Roop Nagar. A community kitchen managed by Swayamsevaks is also being running at Nai Basti to feed people daily.
National Student Union of India National President Neeraj Kundan distributed over 200 food packets at Ward Number 51 of Channi Himmat.
Set India along with volunteers Naveen Sharma, Rakesh Kumar and Kuldeep Kumar distributed ration and biscuits to children from Maharashtra in presence of Vijay Sharma Naib Tehsildar Jammu and Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak Varuneshwar Singh. Rajesh Sharma Founder Trustee was also present on the occasion.
Ex MLA Samba Yashpal Kundal of Panthers Party in Arazi Samba area of District Samba provided bags of flour to 200 needy people. He had earlier provided ration material to the needy people in Samba’s Nud and Garh Mandi also Along with Yashpal Kundal, party leader Arun Khajuria, Ravidas Sabha Head Bhagwan Das and local Mahila Panch were also present on the occasion.
Tahir Rufayee MD TR Group of Companies distributed ration kits and 1000 medicine kits along with masks to the folks living in far flung areas of Doda. He was accompanied by the team young guys viz Shahid Parvez, Sehran Khan, Owais Shah, Riaz Ahmed and Tahir Shah.
Poonch Police distributed 120 ration kits and other items in people living in villages near the Line of Control. These villages include Chambar, Kanari, Saujiyan, Khet and Gali Maidan located near Line of Control. The team from Police Station Mandi and DySP DAR Poonch, Sheezan Bhat went to the area and distributed ration kits. DIG Rajouri Poonch range, Vivek Gupta and SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral are supervising the efforts of distribution of essentials.
Beopar Mandal Udhampur distributed dry ration in Bradien village near Battal Ballian Chowk in Udhampur. On the occasion President Beopar Mandal Udhampur Jatinder Varmani and other members of the Mandal were present.
Inspire Foundation being run by social activist and Sarpanch Vijay Raina distributed kits of ration in Trilokpur, Tomal, Lower Roop Nagar, Patoli Mangotrian and Gole Gujral areas. Councellor MC Mattan and President Samporn Kashmir Sanghthan Rakesh Koul, Deepak Khanna and Vishal Fotedar were also present on the occasion.
