JAMMU, Apr 25: Distribution of ration and essential items among the needy persons continued in different parts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas distributed ration amongst the municipal workers at Paloura.
Yudhvir Sethi, J&K UT BJP Vice President today distributed masks and sanitizers at people’s doorstep of Ward No 7, Christan Colony, Residency Road Jammu East Constituency. Yudhvir Sethi was accompanied by Mandel President Jammu East Parveen Kerni. VP Mandel Vinod Gupta, Mandel General Secretary Jammu East Vipin Sharma and District President Minority Morcha Jammu Asif Gill were among others present on the occasion.
Border Security Forces provided the ration and masks among 500 labourers in BSF Headquarter Panjtilla Samba. IG BSF NS Jamwal, DIG BSF Sukhdev Raj and Commandants of the three battalions of BSF were also present on the occasion.

All India Students Federation (AISF) Doda distributed rice, oil, salt, soyabeen and soap among needy people of village Lonepura and Batla of Panchayat Malwana East, Teshil Gundna of District Doda. Mukesh Parihar former State President AISF, District President Sulinder Parihar, District General Secretary Raj Kumar, Sanjay Kumar and Rishi Kumar were also present on the occasion.
RSS Swayam Sevaks distributed dry ration to four hundred families at Kaluchack, Bari-Brahmana, Shastri Nagar, Raghunathpura, Paloura, Roop Nagar, Bantalab, Chinore and Pounichack areas. RSS is also running a community kitchen to feed needy persons at Nai Basti.
Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh volunteers of Samba District distributed free masks, soaps, detergents, medicines and others items among the needy people.
Sanjeev Sharma, PRO to MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh along with District President Samba Amar Singh and District General Secretary Randhir Sharma distributed sanitizers among coronavirus warriors including DC Samba, SDM Vijaypur, Tehsildar Vijaypur, members of Municipal Committee Bari Brahmna, SSP Samba, DySP Bari Brahmna, DySP Vijaypur, SHOs Bari Brahmna, Vijaypur, Ghagwal, Ramgarh and Purmandal Police Stations, J&K Bank Employees and others.
Some social workers of Lakhanpur distributed dry ration and cooked food to needy and slum dwellers families. BJYM President Gourav Sharma, Councilor Ravinder Sharma, Vinod kumar, Prashant kashyap, Deepak Kumar, Sushant Dubey, Sachin Kumar, Roshan and Amit kumar were among others present on the occasion.
Social worker Kajal Rajput, an intern at TV Today Noida and resident of Bani distributed the eatables among several families of the nomads as well as poor people of the area.

A group of volunteers led by Sarpanch Sanjeet Singh handed over a boxful of medicines to Deputy Commissioner Reasi Indu Kanwal Chib at her office in Reasi. The medicines will be distributed among expecting mothers and babies in tehsil Thakrakote. Sarpanch Panchayat Dharan of Block and Tehsil Thakrakote Sanjeet Singh along with his team of sixteen other volunteers had contributed money and purchased the medicines. Group members, who contribute in this noble cause, include Sachin Vishwas, Manjit Singh, Jaswant Singh, Vishwa Prakash Singh, Raghuvir Singh, Varun Rajput, Surjit Singh, Kander Singh, Rajesh Singh, Naresh Singh, Akshay Verma, Chitranjan Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Balbir Singh and Rajinder Singh.
Peoples Welfare Society Butwani Ganderbal distributed ration and other materials among the needy people in the area in association with Municipal Committee Ganderbal under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Officer of the MC. Chairman of the society Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani and youth leader Parvez Ahmed Mir were among others present on the occasion.
