JAMMU, May 3: Distribution of ration and essential items among needy persons continued here today.
A team of senior Congress leaders from DCC Jammu Urban led by Yogesh Sawhney, Former Minister J&K and General Secretary JKPCC Incharge District President Jammu Urban handed out free ration to the needy people of Ward Number 2 in Jullaka Mohalla area. The distribution program was organised by Chandra Shekhar General Secretary DCC Jammu and Atul Sharma General Secretary DCC Jammu. Neeraj Gupta, Secretary JKPCC, Anand Gandotra, President Block Congress Committee, Suresh Dogra, Ramakant Khajuria, Pawan Dev, ML Malagar, Jyoti Vaid, Anoop Gupta, Chandersekhar Sharma, Atul Gupta and many others were present.
A team from Police Station Ramsoo headed by SHO DySP (Prob) Dr Sumit Sharma distributed the dry ration materials among the 70 needy families in its area.
Raman Raina, a photojournalist from Jammu, roams on his specially made scooty to serve tea among security personnal performing duties during COVID 19 lockdown in Janipur, Paloura and Roop Nagar areas in addition to his official work.
All India Students Federation (AISF) Jammu & Kashmir unit distributed approximately 2 quintal fresh vegetables among needy people at Chenani tehsil of Udhampur District. UT President AISF Sanjay Kotwal and UT Joint Secretary Advocate Surjeet Dhowan were among others present on the occasion.
BJP working committee distributed ration among needy families at Old Court Complex Samba. Arun Sharma, District Vice President Naresh Amba, District Spokesman Kuldeep Sharma, J&K Secretary (SC) Shivlal Manyal, Councilor Ward Number 1 Seema Amba, Rana Khousal, Ashok and Nischant were among others present on the occasion.
A langer was organized by Jai Singh Senior Congress leader at Ward numbers 55, 69 and 70 for the poor and needy people. On the occasion, Prabha Slathia, Anand Khajuria, Yograj Singh, Surinder Singh Latti, Harkirat Singh Sasan, Girish Raizada, Vidyasagar, Arun Singh, Advocate Rahul Singh, Varun Singh and Sanjay Singh were present.
Senior PDP leader Deepak Raina along with his team distributed essential items among the needy people in Lakhanpur, Kathua, Marheen and Hiranagar areas. He also provided face masks to poor people.
Jammu and Kashmir Ex-Services League District Unit Udhampur distributed ration among needy people at Majalta. District President Dalbir Singh Bhatyal, Captain Dina Nath, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Puran Chand, Colonel Mohan Gupta and many others were present on the occasion.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Talab Tillo Mandal led by its President Keshav Chopra in presence of J&K BJP Media Secretary Dr Pardeep Mahotra distributed dry ration kits among the needy persons at Talab Tillo.
98 Battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) distributed relief materials and mask among the needy people at village SM Pura Sector Ramgarh in District samba.
BJP Kashmir Displaced District team led by Corporator Mattan and BJP leader Rakesh Koul distributed ration kits and other essential items in Lower Muthi and Akalpur areas among poor and needy people. TN Bhat, President BJP Kashmir Displaced District, Vinod Pandita General Secretary, Vijay Raina Sarpanch Chowgam, Sandeep Kisroo, Deepanshu Kisroo, Samvit Trisal and Vishal Fotedar were the part of distribution programme.
