JAMMU, May 22: Distribution of ration and essential items among needy persons continued here today.
District Congress Committee delivered ration items to the doorsteps of the needy in Ward Number 19 at Old University Campus. The program was organized by Congress Ward President Ajay Kumar of Ward Number 19 under the leadership of Yogesh Sawhney, Former Minister and General Secretary PCC Incharge District President Jammu Urban. Neeraj Gupta Secretary PCC, Dr Rama Kant Khajuria and Pawan Dev Vice Presidents DCC, Anoop Gupta General Secretary DCC, Ajay Kumar and Garu Ram were present on the occasion.
Members of MD Bandey Memorial Society Poonch led by Er Saleem Bandey visited the village Kuniyan and distributed dry ration to the needy people in presence of Sarpanch Mohammad Aslam, Naib Sarpanch Abdul Kareem, Mohammad Aslam Sheikh, Gurcharan Singh, Mohammad Hanif, Sain Sharif, Panches. Members of the NGO Jaleel Khawaja, Imran Shah, Sandeep Luthra, Jagjit Singh, Waseem Raja and Sohail Kirmani were also present.
Sarbat Da Bhalla Charitable Trust under the guidance of its President Baldev Singh Raina (Chairman and CEO Peaks Group and Chairman PHD Chamber of Commerce) distributed free ration to 1500 needy families of J&K. Dr Amarjeet Singh General Secretary, Manjeet Singh Joint Secretary, Maninder Pal Singh Treasurer, Satpal Singh Executive Member, Dr Bhupinder Singh Executive Member, Mukesh Sharma Volunteer and Inderjeet Singh Volunteer were among others present on the occasion.
Gandhi Global Family Ramban team distributed dry ration among 25 local needy families of Kapadi Morh, Parnote. The families were identified by Tariq Salim Malik local social activist of Parnote, Ramban. 29th relief camp was organized by GGF J&K in presence of GGF J&K Secretary Bashir Ahmed Sheikh and GGF President Ramban Khalid Wani.
Sunil Sharma, National Organiser of the Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti alongwith the other prominent members of the team distributed food items among the needy people. Vishnu Kant Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, MC Sharma, Aayushman Sharma, Rakesh Sharma and many others were present on the occasion.
President Sukhraj Bharav Asthapan and Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Hunipora Block Newa District Pulwama Kashmir distributed ration and essential items to the poor and needy families of Subash Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Patoli and Shiv Nagar areas. The ration kits were also distributed to the safai karamcharis of Lane Numbers 10, 11, 12 of Ward Number 33.
Shamsher Kumar Prajapati, District President BJP OBC Morcha distributed ration among 30 needy families in Kah Potha area in Mandal Dansal of Jammu District. Braham Jyot Satti, President BJP OBC Morcha, Nand Kishore Sharma, Senior leader BJP, Shamsher Singh Billawaria, Mandal Pradhan, Rajesh Dogra, Sunil Kumar, Manohar Lal Bhagat, Sonu Pona, Joginder Singh and Shallu Shah.
KP volunteers distributed ration in Talab Tillo, Poonch House, Bohri, Bhagwati Nagar, Bantalab, Barnai, Roop Nagar, Muthi, Paloura, Jagti and other parts of Jammu to BPL families. KP volunteers team include Vikram Koul, Deepak Koul, Bimal Raina, Ramesh Koul, Ashok Bhat, Shoki Lidhoo, Neelam Koul, Sudesh Koul, Ashok Raina, Sandeep Tickoo, Deepak Bhan, Ayush Raina, Monu Ji Bhat, Bittu Ji Bhat and Vinoo Misri.
