SAMBA, Jan 30: District Administration today retrieved 21 kanals of State land at village Dabuj Kaka, Tehsil Ramgarh and 4 kanals land at village Swankha, Tehsil Ramgarh from illegal encroachment.
The teams under the supervision of SDM Vijaypur, Rajneesh Gupta and Tehsildar Ramgarh, Jai Kumar carried out the eviction and also installed sign-boards indicating ownership of State on the land.
The action has been taken under a detailed scheme prepared for eviction of illegal occupants on state/common land under which all Tehsildars have been directed to frame committees and have been given targets for the same.
When contacted, District Development Commissioner (DDC), Sheetal Nanda, said that similar action will be carried out in all tehsils in a phased manner.
Meanwhile, an awareness programme on Quality Management Standards and Quality Technology Tools was organised by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises-Development Institute Jammu at Samba.
DDC Samba, Sheetal Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion, who while speaking stressed on maintaining high standards of quality as it helps to maintain customer satisfaction. She highlighted importance of quality for MSME in establishing brand loyalty among the customers. Director MSME-DI Jammu, Virinder Sharma and General Manager DIC, Samba Krishan Lal also expressed their views.
The training session was held by Arun Kapila from Ludhiana who guided participants on various aspects.
Assistant Director MSME, Saheel Yaqoob Alaqband, President Association of Small and Tiny Industries Harbinder Singh, industrialists and entrepreneurs from Samba were also present on the occasion.
