KATHUA, Aug 3: The district administration under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rohit Khajuria today retrieved the traditional pond land situated in the heart of the town.
A portion of land was encroached by some encroachers who had also raised illegal structure on it.

After the measurement of land by the administration today some portion of land was retrieved during the anti encroachment drive and a JCB was put on job to demolish the concrete structures. The Tehsildar Kathua, Jai Singh who was supervising the drive said that the traditional pond has been revived and development of pond is going on to renovate it in original shape so that it can become a beautiful spot in the area.
