DODA, Feb 25: District Bar Association today held election to elect the office bearers.
Advocate Imtiaz Mir was elected as president, whereas Advocate SA Khan as vice president, Advocate Kewal Krishan Manhas as general secretary and Advocate Arshad Salaria as treasurer.
The result of the election was declared by senior advocate SH Hashmi.
While speaking, newly elected president Advocate Imtiaz Mir underlined his agenda, which included establishment of Regional Bench of J&K High Court at Doda, establishment of District Consumer Forum and construction of new court complex.
He added that the problems being faced by the lawyers’ community will also be taken up at appropriate platform.
