REASI, Dec 1: On the instructions of the Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar (Patron-in-Chief) and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir Chairperson Computer Committee, High Court of J&K, SMS delivery service was started today in District Court Complex here.
Under this service the litigants and lawyers will get free SMS on their mobile phones on filing of their case in any court in the complex as well as on subsequent dates giving the status of the case after they register their mobile numbers with the Judicial Service Centre at the District Court Complex Reasi.
Such service has already been started in District Courts of Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Kathua and Udhampur and efforts are underway to extend the service to other districts of the State.
