JAMMU, Dec 31: On the directions of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, a meeting regarding ‘Action Plan for the District Judiciary” under the guidance of Y.P. Bourney, Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu, was held in District Court Jammu today in the office Chamber of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu.
The meeting was chaired by Y.P.Bourney, Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu and was attended by all Judicial Officers of the district.
The main objective of convening this meeting in District Jammu was to thoroughly discuss the strategies and modalities to be adopted in order to curb the pending targeted/old cases in Jammu district. Further, directions were also passed for adopting other effective modes of alternative dispute resolution with special reference to mediation.
