UDHAMPUR, Apr 12: Local journalists of District Udhampur have formed Press Club Udhampur (PCU) and unanimously elected its body with Pardeep Bakshi as the President and Anil Dubey as Chairman.
The body was constituted during a general meeting of journalists of District Udhampur, including Tehsil Ramnagar, Chenani and Majalta.
Pankaj Saraf has been elected as Vice President, Vinay Sharma as General Secretary, Dipankar Gupta as Vice Chairman, Romesh Gupta as Dy Vice Chairman, Sher Singh as Secy, Arun Kumar as Jt Secy, Sunil Kapoor as Press Secy, Vinay Jandial as Jt Secy, Rajesh Anand as Distt Spokesperson, Aftab Hindustani as Treasurer and Advocate Rahul Jandial as Legal Advisor.
Amit Mahi, Ashish Dutt, Sumeet Sharma, Omkar Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Achin, Aniket Dubey, Ankush Sharma, Sugam Santhal, Rohit Sharma, Vicky Kataria, Naresh Thakur, Krishan Kumar, Sanjay Thakur, Maqbool Shah, Sourav Sagar, Sorav Sharma, Sourav Atri, Sahil Sharma, Ajay Bandral, Krishan Khajuria, Balwan Singh, Mansi, Vijay Thakur and Neeraj Kesar are members of the Club.
In his brief address, the Club president assured to come up to the expectations of members and do his best to contribute towards the welfare of journalist fraternity and also to coordinate with Civil and Police administration for the overall interest of people.
