JAMMU, Mar 28: District Police Jammu under Civic Action Programme here today organised an antidrug rally at new Agra Chak in R.S Pura.
About 70-80 locals of the area including youth, sportsmen as well as children participated in the rally.
The rally was organised under the directions of SDPO R.S Pura, Gurmeet Singh and was led by SHO R.S Pura, Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar.
Prominent among those who participated in the rally were SI Rajinder Singh, IC BPP Agra Chak; ASI Ranbir Singh BPP Baspur and ASI Ashwani Kumar I/C BPP Badyal Brahmana and others.
The rally started from the village New Agrachak and after passing through different areas giving strong antidrug message it culminated at Radha Krishan Mandir.
Prominent senior citizens who never used drugs and alcohol in their life were honoured by Special Antidrug Mementes from District Police Jammu and these were ex Sarpanch, Rashpaul Choudhary, ex Sarpanch, Liyaqat Ali and Ram Parsad Sharma.
