JAMMU, Feb 21: District Police Ramban organized painting competition at Dak Bunglow Ramban under Civic Action Programme.
The theme of the topic was’Tress are the best friends’ for junior category, while ‘Road safety should be a way of life’ for senior category in which a total of 55 students from 1st to 8th standard of different schools participated.
Shista Qayoom Farhana, Iqbal and Gurav Gupta stood first, second and third respectively, while Sanjay Gupta, Duera Anjum and Bazila Jan clinched first, second and third position in junior category respectively.
The winners in both the categories who stood first, second and third were given cash reward of Rs 4000, 3000 and 2500 along with certificates by Randeep Kumar, SP Ramban.
Each student who participated in the competition was given certificate of participation.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Aditional SP Ramban, Arun Gupta, ADDC Ramban Arvind Kirwani, ARTO Jughal Kumar and DySP Headquarters, Mahinder Parihar.
